I just watched …
I just watched Persuasions over and over again. Then I watched that movie “Joe’sPalace” just to see RPJ in it. He is certainly quite a versatile actor. That mysterious, stern, handsome and charming thing he had in Persuasions was outrageously good. If he can do that he can definitely do 007. Can you imagine all the Austen fans in the world that would go to see a James Bond movie just to oggle at him doing the “Bond” antics. That’s like waiting for the next Harry Potter.

I’ve followed Bond movies for a looong time and they actually wanted Pierce Brosnan for Bond back in the 80′s (!!), but he was too young…I think RPJ, as hot as he is, is too young as well…but give it time. I mean hey, it worked out for ol’ Brosnan didn’t it? ;-]

I love Daniel Craig as James Bond. He gives the character a different flavor from the other actors who played Bond. But I do think that Rupert Penry-Jones can be a very good 007. He certainly have the looks and the brand of charisma that comes across the screen that every Bond must have. Hope somebody start something in motion to get him (RPJ) in notice of the film’s producers. Maybe for the next movie?
