The iPod issues are solved with the latest software from TomTom.

Unfortunately there is some problem with the Ipod interface on this unit i.e it doesnt restart from the last song like its supposed to. Also it doesnt hold the Ipod preferences i.e. Shuffle and repeat. At each restart, both of these boxes are unticked when they would have been selected at switch off.
The 5th gen didnt work at all!! It just said connecting to..Ipod and that was it.

So I have the AVN2210p and I like it but it is missing some features that I hoped the next version will correct.
For Sat radio – does the 4430 allow you to direct tune? I.e, can yuo go to channel 183 without having to press the up button 183 times? Another one was the ability to pause sat radio – will the 4430 do that? Either way it still looks really sweet!

I paid $600 shipped from eBay (only place in stock at the time). I wouldn’t pay 850 unless it was a direct drop in (Eclipse units have been drop ins for Toyotas in the past, and the Vibe is at least partially designed by Toyota and may share the harness). If Eclipse units drop in, the 4430 is better value than 726e IMO. TomTom Navi works great too, and I can take it out and use it in other vehicles.
