i read a question about what is winter soltice? and how does it relate in the way of a holiday? her answer was she is wiccan and was able to correctly explain that in the wiccan community , the winter soltice is called yule, which i know for a fact is correct. then she went on to explain that many of todays christmas "traditions" are actually wiccan traditions that christians adopted as their own traditions while they were trying to convert the wiccans to christianity.i wanted know her stance on "christian wiccans"? has she ever heard of such? is it possible? i praticed wicca briefly a few years ago when something drastic happened in my life that both life threatening and life changing, in which my rescurers convinced me to revert back to christianity. but i cant help but feel like a "wandering soul in search" . in other words, since i have discovered bible passages that coincide with beliefs from BOTH faiths, is it possible to be a "christian wiccan" sinca wicca is a faith based on
Looks like I found your question
I have indeed heard of Christian Wiccans. A lot of them call themselves "Christo-Pagan". Though some people, especially of the Christian faith, may tell you that you can’t follow both, I do think it is possible. God/Goddess/Jesus/Allah/Buddha/(insert Divine name here) has many faces, and each person needs to find their own personal path, even if it is outside the usual boundaries of religion. We really wouldn’t have so many belief systems if this weren’t true.

If the question is resolved, try getting in the Religion category and finding her response. Then click on her. If you answered the question you can locate it faster. Hopefully SHE sees the question you asked and will respond. It’s a good question by the way.

While it is possible to be a Christian mystic, a Christian Witch and a Christian mage, it’s not possible to be a Christian Wiccan.
By definition, Wiccan’s aren’t Christian.
We Wiccans have a full and rich spiritual life that doesn’t need anythin added to be complete.
You see, Wiccans think the gods have names, and the names of the gods matter, so worshipping a god who lies about being the only god out there is right out when we know for a fact there are more gods than one.
Also, Wicca is a modern religion, not an ancient one. While many Xmas traditions are pre-Christian, and many Wiccan traditions are pre-Christian, Wicca is only about 60 years old. That doesn’t change the fact that Wicca works, mind you. Every religion was new at some point.
Wicca is based on a love of the gods. If you don’t know THEM, you don’t know Wicca.
