mustang or soltice?
which is better ford mustang or pontiac solstice they both cost rufly the same. the mustang has for seats and the pontiac has two so its not as practical what do you think?please speak your mind thanks.
The most hp from the factory for the Solstice is 240 hp turbocharged. It costs right around 25,700. The new Mustang GT comes stock with 300 HP and the most expensive GT is 29,200. Mind you these are only invoice prices, and they will differ at the dealer. But overall I think the Mustang has better styling, you get 60 more horses that are not forced out of the car (turbo), and it has that back seat that you talked about. I think the Mustang is a better car. Remember, you get what you pay for.
look, the first answer is so biased. he is just some honda lover who only gave that judgement based on the fact that he hates mustangs. and while a souped up honda will beat a STOCK mustang on a track with some corners, it can’t hang on a strip. i would get the mustang if i were you based on the looks. and i am not some kind of weirdo honda hater. i was actually going to buy a civic before i bought my motorcycle. i still am, sometime in the future (2-5 years). i will get the SI (with the hatch back) from the early 90’s

If I had to choose I would get the mustang GT JUST because it’s a chick magnet. But if I was you I would get a LS1 camaro unless you could wait for the new camaro to come out. It easily has more hp than the mustang and Chevy builds a better V8 engine and manual transmission (I should know I have a 94 camaro Z28 6 speed and it has never had any trans or engine problems with 202,000 miles, find me a mustang that can say that lol). Just thought I would tell you about another option =).

I would choose the Mustang. It comes in either convertible or coupe, like you said more seats, more horsepower, and more trunk space. I have a 2006 Mustang, and I am very happy with it and I enjoy it. I never drove a Solstice, but it’s just smaller on the inside, so if you are planning to go away or you need room you will have it in the Mustang. The Mustang is a cool car, and you will get attention with it. I get attention driving it all the time, and it is still a car you can take to a car show if you wanted.

halofan please, the ls1 camaro only has 35 more hp then the mustang and is slower then the mustang. 2005 ford gt mustang runs the 1/4 mile in 13.5 the 1998 ss camaro runs the 1/4 mile in 13.6.

Not to mention that the mustang is rated so far ahead of the camaro in reliabillity and repair history it is rediculous.

There is not a single catagory that the 1998-2002 camaro is rated higher in when it comes to repair and reliabillty history then the 05-07 mustang. In fact 2 out of years between 98-02 the camaros engine is worse then ave and much worse then ave. The overall reliabillity and repair score for the camaro is worse then ave. The mustang is better then ave and the mustang was given the best buy award in 2006. Dont, get me wrong, I am a fan of the ss camaro but it just doesnt compare to the new mustangs. Now when compared to the mustangs of the same era, those mustangs still have a better reliabillity and repair history as you can see if you go to my sources, but the camaros of that era are faster then the mustangs of that era.
Soltice vrs mustang, no question, mustang. mustang looks better, is faster, and has a better reliabillity and repair history.

If you only think about cheap hp then the mustang is for you.A good example is mike k’s rant about mustangs and camaro’s in response to someone else’s answer.The question is about pontiac solstices and mustangs.Also if you want every freckled face teenage boy drooling on your car the mustangs for you.If you want to look more mature and sophisticated the solstice is for you it is a far classier car all the proof you need is the answers above mine.
