Solstice

So everyone always wonders is it true that you can stand an egg up on end on Solstice?

I have often wondered this myself and so when my friend Eric T. sent a tweet out on Twitter and ask if it were true, I just had to find out.

This was my second attempt ever at an egg stand and I did it on Winter Solstice (December 21, 2008) at my home in Honolulu, Hawaii.

P.S. first attempt was successful as well but took about 3 minutes
